Don’t know anything about the Internet? No problem. We do all the work for you and provide full instructions on how to view your web-site and use your email.

Your Own webpage
For only £99* you receive the following;

• Your own domain name (eg: www.yourname.co.uk)
• Full web-site hosting and email forwarding for 1 year (then you pay £20 every following year).
• Up to 10 pages of simple web-site design.
• Unlimited email addresses from your domain (eg: sales@yourname.co.uk, dave@yourname.co.uk).
  

Webdesign

You will have your own web-site address, which can be put on your letterheads, business cards and advertisements as well as an email address where customers can contact you.

The content and style of your site is totally up to you, with your own text, logos, photographs, menus and layout, details of which you supply to us beforehand. Then we can create your web-site and discuss how you want it to look. A proof will be sent for your approval should you not already have Internet access.

If you want to go ahead just send us your remittance (cheques payable to ‘D.whittaker’, credit cards not accepted yet – sorry!) together with the details as shown below. Then we'll be in touch to discuss your site. Within a week your web-site should be up and running! If you wish to discuss any points before going ahead then please call or email.

Details required from you….

Domain name
You choose we need to know what you would like as your domain name to replace the ‘yourname’ word in the examples above. For example for Fred Bloggs Driving School it could be any of the following for option 2;
    www.fredbloggs.co.uk
    www.fbdrivingschool.co.uk
    www.fred-bloggs-driving-school.co.uk
Remember the domain name must be unique, if that name has already been used we will ask you to think of another.

Text, Logo & Photographs
You can provide the text for your site in any format and a letterhead or anything which shows your logo. Photographs must be prints only. Remember to include all the information you want on your web-site. However, the price does include any reasonable alterations you wish to make to the text at a later date.

* Please note the following terms and conditions;

• The web-site created will be without any complex graphics or menus. This is why the fee is so low. We feel that a driving school should not have to pay high prices for fancy designer graphics work when a simple site to announce a web presence and provide all the details is all that is required.
• You supply the text (typewritten or on disc including required colours and fonts), the general layout you require, any logos (eg colour letterhead) and photographs (prints only) which we will scan and position on your web page. If you do not currently have access to the internet then a colour proof will be sent for your approval.
• You can have any reasonable .co.uk domain name providing it is available. You pay us for designing your web-site under that name. The above fee includes 1 years hosting. After this period you will need to pay £40 for an additional 2 years hosting (a reminder will be sent and there is no obligation to renew) otherwise the site will be removed from the internet and you will no longer own the domain name.
• The above fee does include any simple alterations you may require to your web-site once it is up and running such as price changes, additional phone numbers, etc. More substantial changes will be chargeable depending on the volume of work required.
• You can upgrade from option 1 to 2 at any time for a charge of £40 for 2 years hosting (as above) which will then remove the .drivinginstructors part of the domain name (providing the resulting name is still available, otherwise you will have to use a different one). No web-site changes will be made.
• Access to your email is only available via the Internet Service Provider that hosts it, You only pay for the local-rate call to send and receive your emails. Details of how to set up Windows to use this service will be provided. However there is no condition that you have to use the email service.
• If you wish to move your domain name to another service provider you can do so. A small fee applies.
• Once the domain name has been registered (usually taking 3 days from receipt of order), email support is available for any queries you have on this service.
